OUR TAKE: While a premium 360 has become scare within certain electronic stores within the Toronto area, the arcade systems seem to have regular supplies. Maybe people don't care as much about Microsoft's gimped system for the masses? I guess we'll never really know the full story. We should be used to that by now with this console war.
The most astounding number is definitely not Nintendo sitting atop the #1 position. Instead it is the PS2 continuing to put up incredibly solid hardware sales, despite 3 next generation systems sharing shelf space with it. The incredibly low price tag and amazing wealth of games has a lot to do with it, but give credit where it's due. The PS2 has been a remarkable system, but we have to wonder when it will begin to fade. |
